In Pursuit Video Series

Overview

In this video series, students learn about the lives of several presidents and first ladies of the Founding Era. In the videos, students will see how these famous historical figures demonstrated civic virtues such as courage, humility, trust, and cooperation. Each video prompts students to consider how they can apply these attitudes and dispositions in their classroom, community, and beyond. Weave these videos and their accompanying video guides into your social studies units on civics, history, or government.

The In Pursuit Series was made possible by More Perfect. In Pursuit is a landmark initiative of More Perfect, a bipartisan alliance of 44 Presidential Centers, National Archives Foundation, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Karsh Institute for Democracy at the University of Virginia, and more than 100 organizations working together to protect and renew our democracy as we approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and beyond.
