Molly Morrison
After graduating with a Political Science degree from Trinity Washington University and four years of national leadership for a variety of causes and campaigns in Washington, DC, Molly began what has become a nearly 20-year career as a non-profit development and marketing professional.
In an effort to broaden her horizons and world view, Molly embarked for Dublin, Ireland in 1999 to begin a Masters of Philosophy in International Peace Studies program at Trinity College. Molly’s “year-out” turned into eleven as she worked in senior development roles for three of the largest and best known non-profit organizations in Ireland beginning with UNICEF Ireland, followed by Concern Worldwide and the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children with combined annual incomes of over $60 million.
Molly returned from Ireland to her native Boston in 2010, first joining the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and then joining the global health leader Sightsavers to build its US funding base and profile as its sole US-based manager.
Molly lives with her husband, Simon, and their son, Patrick. An avid civics buff since childhood, she is delighted to help iCivics raise the funds it needs to continue to offer its innovative educational games and tools to every school in America for free.
