Aileen McQuillen
Aileen graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 2013 with a love for leveraging digital marketing to tell impactful stories and to drive meaningful actions.
She began her career at a Boston-based media agency, designing content marketing strategies for clients such as One Mission, Paint Nite, Symmons Industries, and Bertucci's. Next, she spent three years on the marketing team at Facing History and Ourselves managing social media strategy and multi-channel digital campaigns. It was there that she developed her passion for using her skillsets within the education field.
After her time at Facing History, Aileen joined Media Cause, a full-service digital advertising agency that works exclusively with nonprofits. There she partnered with clients, such as The Natural Resources Defense Council, Year Up, Uncommon Schools, and The Brennan Center for Justice, helping each organization leverage digital media to increase their impact.
Aileen joined iCivics in 2019 as the Senior Marketing Manager, where she is responsible for strategizing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to launch new programs, generate website traffic, and communicate the iCivics message to educators nationwide.
When not at work, she can be found up at a lake in Maine or at home in Newburyport snuggling with her chocolate lab.
