Lisa Boudreau
Lisa Boudreau joined iCivics in 2022 as the State Policy Director where her role is to primarily support state policy and advocacy work through the CivXNow Coalition and State Policy Task Force.
Lisa has 20 years of experience in policymaking. She has held staff positions in the offices of two United States Senators and at the St. Louis Board of Aldermen. Lisa spent 8 years at a national nonprofit organization as the Director of Advocacy and Strategic Messaging. While there, she supported four successful reauthorizations of a federal program, and worked on 15 different state coalitions to secure an estimated $800M in state funding to scale and grow maternal-infant health programs.
Lisa currently serves as an advisory council member for the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI) and is a national law fellow in the the Culture of Health Leaders Institute for Racial Healing. In past years, Lisa served as a steering committee member of Missouri Child Advocacy Day, hosted by the Alliance for Children and Families. Lisa got her start in policy as a lived-experience advocate for foster care policy issues at the state and federal level.
Ms. Boudreau holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy Administration and is a resident of St. Louis, Missouri.
