Learning Objectives

  • Identify where work happens
  • Compare and contrast different types of work
  • Discuss and support reasons to explain, “How is work different now than in the past?”

Overview

Historians consider the facts. In this lesson, students will be thinking about the work that happens at home and away from the home. Students will consider different types of work and sort images to help them figure out where work happens. Many of the images are historic primary sources of work in the past. Students will connect information to answer the mystery question: “Where do people work?"

A narrated slide deck is now available for this Mystery!
