Overview

Historians investigate. In this lesson, students will be introduced to the Yoruba culture and the values of the Clotilda Africans. Students will then hear stories about a man named Kossula "Cudjo" Lewis when he was growing up in Yorubaland in West Africa. They will use examples and evidence to answer the mystery question: “What are some examples of Yoruba culture?”
