Overview
Historians consider different points of view. In this lesson, students will learn what the Stamp Act was and why it was controversial. They will study primary sources to uncover reasons why people were for or against the Stamp Act. After analyzing the arguments and identifying the strongest reasons, students will answer the mystery question: “Was the Stamp Act fair?”
