Overview
Historians listen closely. In this lesson, students will learn about refugees by listening to the stories of two refugee children, Omar and Rafh, who left Syria and moved to Europe. Students will use their cards to identify push and pull factors. Students will then identify which skills Omar and Rafh brought to their new schools and homes and answer the mystery question: “Who is a refugee?”
