Why Do People Move?

People move for many different reasons. Maybe for jobs or to be closer to family. In this inquiry-based unit, students will learn all about moving. They will start by learning about the push and pull factors that cause animals to move. While learning new vocabulary, listening to stories, and examining primary source materials, students will better understand reasons why humans move. The unit ends with stories of the push and pull factors that influenced the Great Migration.
